Tasting Notes (2013-02-18)

Appearance: Dark amber in color with golden and pomegranate highlights.

Nose: Clean and soft, featuring very pronounced vanilla and creamy aromas (pastry cream, nutmeg, custard apple, pumkin jam). The fruit is slow to emerge but reveals overripe notes of candied orange, apricots, and loquats.

Palate: Unctuous and creamy, showing touches of vanilla and toast. The pulpy fruit character expands with aeration; smooth with sound acidity. Very delicious.

Tasting Notes (2005-04-18)

Appearance: Orange-yellow, almost amber; very luminous with golden and reddish highlights.

Nose: It shows clear signs of decadence. Notes of oriental spices (curry, ginger, turmeric, cardamom) are joined by lacquer, ketchup, and plastic, with no traces of raisined grapes.

Palate: Thick and hot on the palate, showing a total lack of freshness. Unpleasant bitter touches of orange peel and very intense toasted notes (hearth/smoke). Faint glimpses of ripe white fruit in the background, though overwhelmed by the general bitterness.

Personal Score: 70
