Tasting Notes

Appearance: Golden-yellow hue with copper and orange glints; clean and brilliant. It shows a significant viscosity and "tears" on the glass.

Nose: A serious, complex, and highly detailed bouquet. Upon opening, it reveals citrus notes of tangerine peel and pulpy fruits like custard apple in syrup, which merge seamlessly with creamy nuances of cocoa butter and fine toast. Remarkably mature and fresh, showing no signs of negative reduction after decades in the bottle. With aeration, it gains intensity, unveiling coriander seeds and distinct oriental spices such as turmeric. Secondary and tertiary layers emerge with dried apricots, raisins, noble wood, and coffee beans. Elegant and showing zero signs of fatigue.

Palate: Greasy and voluminous, characterized by creamy butter notes and perfectly integrated noble wood. The palate is defined by a core of very mature stone and pulp fruit, supported by a brilliant, bracing acidity. It remains nervous and incredibly vivid, displaying a complex sweet-and-sour profile. Rounded, savory, and impeccably structured within its highly recognizable traditional style. A monumental white wine in peak condition.
