The wine spent one year in tanks followed by an extensive aging period of 9 to 10 years in 225-liter American oak barrels. It was clarified prior to bottling and rested for 8 years in the bottle before its commercial release.

Tasting Notes
Appearance: Ruby hue, exceptionally pale; reddish and orange highlights, with almost no variation between the rim and the meniscus.
Nose:
Medium intensity yet replete with detail. Fresh, featuring an abundance
of reduced ripe red fruit that imparts an almost citrusy note
(nectarine, plums, Pippin apple), alongside withered flowers. It is
supported by a high-quality toasted foundation of vanilla, spices,
peppercorns, clove, and bay leaf.
Palate: A magnificent example of the historic claretes from Bodegas Bilbaínas: fresh, refined, and medium-bodied. Lean, overflowing with red fruit and enveloped by an all-encompassing acidity. It is remarkably easy to drink—spirited and incredibly vibrant. It stands apart from the estate's more
"Burgundian" and vigorous styles, yet possesses significant life ahead.
